Geno Smith did good when he was in Seattle, but on the Raiders? Not so much! Pretty sure he has a guaranteed contract, so what will happen next year? Right now, they're lined up for the #1 overall pick in the draft as long as they don't beat the Chiefs in the last game. Will QB Fernando Mendoza be their guy? Hopefully, they don't pick defense at #1 unless they trade down. This video mentions 8 minutes in that a trade for Kyler Murray would make sense. They have a lot of holes. I think Mendoza is the way to go.

The Super Bowl was a month ago. For a few weeks, there was hardly any action in the NFL. Coaches were fired then replaced. Not a lot besides that, though. The Raiders just traded their best defensive player, Maxx Crosby, to the Ravens for a couple of first round picks. Free agency will begin this coming week. There will be lots to talk about. For football nuts, this is a good time of year. Next month, the NFL draft will take place. Most teams are filled with hope at that time no matter who they are. There will be news to report. Also, even though the Seattle Seahawks just won the Super Bowl, their team was put up for sale. I'm not sure people saw that coming ...
