A New Norm: Fair Warnings Before Bans - Madam Cassandra - 10-08-2026 Hello, darlings, The spirits and homercocktail have spoken, and Pumpkin and I are trying something new here at Sheeple Gateway. Starting today, members who post too much promotional or off-topic material will get a fair warning before anything else happens: a friendly note in their thread and a private message from one of the mods. For this first round, we're giving everyone TWO WEEKS to answer and adjust. Down the road, the standard will be one week. What this means: Sellers are welcome to chat with us. Tell us who you are, answer a comment now and then, and we can work something out. Accounts that only post links, never answer, and keep piling onto other people's threads may be banned once the warning period ends. Anything illegal or harmful (deepfakes, nonconsensual images, anything involving minors) still comes down immediately. No warnings for that. Cjacker, haheyi1664, and soteno1490, you'll be hearing from me shortly. I'd love to hear back from you. I wanted to add something.  We're working on launching a new website.  Years ago, I joined Lunatic Outpost on Halloween.  I'd like to have the new site up and running before then.  Anyone here who behaves and respects the forum could possibly sign up there, but the vetting process will probably be stricter.  That's why we're going through these changes right now.  You've been a great crowd and it's been a great year for Sheeple Gateway.  There have been a couple of dozen members who crossed the line and they got banned.  We try to give leeway, but let us know if you're human (if you are).  We're probably not going to allow the same bot activity at the next site.  If Madam Cassandra contacts you, please respond to her.  If the OP is legit but the spam on the thread isn't, you're stuff might get sent to the Special Abode, and you might be subject to ban.
