Branding a dropshipping store - Addonay - 10-26-2026

I've been running a Shopify store selling fitness accessories for about eight months, and sales have finally become fairly consistent. The problem is that everything arrives in generic packaging, sometimes with supplier labels that have nothing to do with my store. A few customers have even asked whether the products were shipped by a different company. I'd like to start putting our own name on the orders, maybe with branded inserts or packaging, but I'm not ready to order hundreds of units upfront or deal with a warehouse myself. I've been looking at Zendrop because it offers some branding and fulfillment options, although I'm not sure how much control you actually get over the presentation of each order. Has anyone tried building a recognisable brand while still using dropshipping suppliers? What worked, and which services were worth considering?

Customers asking who actually sent the parcel is a pretty clear sign that the shop name disappears as soon as the order leaves your site. There's no need to jump straight into fully custom boxes though. Start with two or three products that already sell regularly and add a branded insert, packing slip or sticker to those orders first. That gives you something recognisable inside the parcel without committing to hundreds of printed boxes, and you can see whether the supplier actually follows your packing instructions consistently before expanding it across the catalogue.

A logo on a card won't turn a random collection of products into a recognisable shop by itself. Keep the range fairly tight, use the same style across product pages and emails, and give customers a reason to remember the store after the parcel has arrived. The fulfilment service becomes part of that image too, because it's the one putting the finished order in the customer's hands. Before giving Zendrop that role, read this review here: https://easync.io/articles/zendrop-review/ . Pay attention to the sourcing, shipping and fulfilment side as well as the branding features. Those parts have a big effect on whether customers come back and buy from the same store again.
