MANIACPEDIA & Conspiracy 101 - Brick Jayne - 01-05-2026 MANIACPEDIA LAUNCH ... Hello, My name is Brick Jayne, and I'm the author of Thermite, Kiribati, and Cretins.  I've been part of Maniac Nebula  years.  There has been talk about creating our own encyclopedia for years.  We're all familiar with The Devil's Dictionary from Ambrose Bierce.  Let me give you a flavor: Love, n.  A temporary insanity curable by marriage or by removal of the patient from the influences under which he incurred the disorder Isn't this just the most hilarious thing?  This definition of love was my introduction to Bierce, and I've adored The Devil's  Dictionary for years ever since.  The bottom line is that we, as a culture, have sub-cultures.  We have our own lingo.  I am a conspiracy theorist, and I am not happy about what's out there for us.  Physicists have their own lingo.  Auto mechanics have their own lingo.  Lawyers have their own lingo.  Air traffic controllers have their own lingo.  Anybody in any specialized field has a set of lingo which sounds like a foreign language to a Normie listening.  Conspiracy theorists?  Yes, we have a lingo!  So far as I know, it's never been fully formalized, at least not in the way Maniac Nebula members have wanted it to be.  Technology has changed, and we don't need to create multi-volume sets of books.  We can do everything online.  This project of creating MANIACPEDIA might seem daunting to outsiders, but if it's a labor of love, it will be easy to do. Right now, Maniac Nebula functions as a blog.  There are a few of us who want it to be a myBB social forum again, similar as this place, Sheeple Gateway.  I think most of us how this place is doing, though.  Maniac Nebula will become a social forum again in the future if or when the time is right.  In the meantime, a 2026 blog page just launched.  Every day, a new trivia card from the Urban Myth game is released.  This is done for fun, but it's good for Noobs as well.  It's good to get your feet wet.  In February, we'll introduce the new MANIACPEDIA pages.  That's why I'm starting this thread.  There will have to be a high level of organization and information management.  We have a full month to lay the groundwork.  This is the beginning of our personal encyclopedia, and our shot at presenting Conspiracy 101 for anybody interested in traveling down the Rabbit Hole ... — Brick Jayne
