It's been almost 3 months since we've updated this thread, but we have something new, and it's specific.  Orange Guy goes on posting sprees in the middle of the night.  He tweeted that ...

Sounds like crazy batshit, right?  I don't trust Trump so it's hard to believe for that reason.  With this said, I don't believe American elections are secure.  This goes back a couple of decades.  Greg Palast has been great about shining a light on the murky parts of democracy.  In the early days of electronic votong, Diebold, Sequoia, and ES&S could all be hacked.  I'll say it over and over, but toasters have more federal regulations than voting machines.  I believe Trump knows the public jas skepticism about the election process.  There should [b]always[/b] be a verifiable paper trail, and it simply hasn't been there.  Athan Gibbs, an accountant by trade, invented TruVote which was electronic [i]and[/i] paper.  He died right when he was going to present it.  It's a big mess, though.  I vaguely remember hearing weird rumors that American vote-counting was outsourced to Europe.  Is this where Trump gets his "Italian officials" info?  There's a lot of misinformation and disinformation out there.  If TPTB wanted the public to feel confident and secure about elections, they could've done so long ago.  It's clear to me that certain powerful people wanted to pick winners.  They were willing to rig elections.  I think it sucks that Donald Trump is hung up on losing the 2020 election.  With his gerrymandering, he seems to be on the rigging side.  If he wanted to fix elections, he'd advocate for machines like TruVote.  Making everything paper (and only paper)?  It's stupid, and it's a ploy.  That's [i]my[/i] take on things.  If Trump could mobilize the military to be at polling places, I'm sure he would.  I believe he's a "win at all cost" guy, and don't believe his whining and intentions are noble in the slightest sense.  It's too bad our planet endures this ...
