Utah Kicks off Preseason Against Colorado
The Utah Mammoth start their preseason slate with split squad games against the Colorado Avalanche. Sunday’s games kick off a schedule of seven preseason games and are two of the three contests over the next two days.
The first game is at 2:30 p.m. MT at Magness Arena. You can listen on 97.5FM, KSL Sports Zone, KSL App, and the NHL app. Host Adrian Denny, play-by-play Mike Folta, and analyst Nick Olczyk will have the call. This game will be simulcast on Mammoth+.
Sunday’s second game is at 6:30 p.m. MT at Ball Arena. Matt McConnell and Dominic Moore will have the call on the TV side, and the game will be streamed on Mammoth+. NFL Power Rankings entering Week 4: Kyle Shanahan is doing a great job with the 49ers
Last season, the San Francisco 49ers were the most injured team in the NFL. They fell apart, going 6-11. That's normal for a team with an inordinate amount of injuries.
It also highlights how good head coach Kyle Shanahan has been to start this season.
The 49ers are 3-0 with roughly the same level of ridiculously bad injury luck. They're probably the most injured team in the NFL yet again. Here's a list of the top-end players who have missed games or been affected by injuries: Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, Brandon Aiyuk, Trent Williams, Nick Bosa.

As for everybody else, we're gonna have a good time!  There's a new subforum called The Special Abode.  I believe in free speech, and I believe in common decency.  I will try not to censor anyone here, but I can't let a small handful ruin anything for everyone else.  I banned my first user today for posting 28 threads in 6 hours.  That's just crazy, but instead of deleting all the contents, I moved it.

I come from a social forum where they were lax on what you could talk about.  Somehow, the Flat Earth people touched a nerve and they were banned from the forum.  I will tolerate a lot of stuff, Flat Earth material included, but you have "read the room" and realize that it's not all about you.  It's about us, the Sheeple ...

Sheeple Gateway is coming along just fine!!!  We are still on schedule to be fully functional by Halloween!  Today is the first day of autumn, and it's appropriate to allow Guests post what they want.  We are trusting in you!  If Guests behave, we will open Guest posting to the main forum in a few weeks!  Today, I had to execute my first ban.  I'm not sure if it was a total bot, but the new member posted 26 threads in a matter of a few hours.  That's just psycho!  I mean, if it was a human doing it!  Common sense says to be cool with common people.  If ya' can't do that, you're going to wind up bumped here.

I am a Libertarian.  That means I believe in free speech.  More than I believe in free speech, I believe in common sense and common decency.  This is a privately-owned forum, no different than privately-owned homes we live in.  It's a free country, right?  If you're living here in America with me, people still believe we have a free country.  But what does this mean?  Does it mean I have the freedom to enter my neighbor's house, sit on his couch, then take a poop on it?  No!  Common sense says our freedoms don't extend that far!  I'm sure you get the jist of it!  We welcome Guest posting in this subforum, and we hope you join as a regular member so you can post in the regular forum.

You'll notice that I didn't use the word "spam" when I explained myself here.  "Stupid is as stupid does," is what Forrest Gump is known to say.  "You can't fix stupid," is a popular saying.  Basically, stupid people say stupid things.  To ordinary people, it sounds stupid, and it comes across as spam when they do it in a social forum.  We're not going to call it spam, though.  It's their right of free speech to speak in the manner they know how to do.  It's my right as a forum operator to keep them separate from folks with common sense.
