At some point, we've got to call it for what it is.  If you reply to a thread, try to have a little courtesy.  When you respond, it would be nice to at least partially mention something the OP said.  Sure, threads get hijacked sometimes, and other times they veer off the rails to something else, but to promote something long and strange having nothing to do with the topic?  That's spam!  I know homercocktail wants to be lenient with these issues, so we don't delete anything.  We move it to the Special Abode, and now we're creating a thread for some of the responses.  Some of the posts in this thread might seem random because they'll be coming from different places.

Welcome to Sheeple Gateway!  We believe strongly in free speech at this place, and we haven't deleted any posts or threads yet.  However, we'd like members to stay on topic as much as possible.  This was posted to the American Schism thread, and I couldn't make the connection to how this was relevant to the discussion.  Like I said, you are free to start your own threads.  We are especially flexible in this subforum, The Special Abode.

Thanksgiving is coming up, and I look forward to watch a lot of football that day!  I love Thanksgiving for that reason, and obviously for the food!  It's a great turkey day!

Hey Guys,

We try to make it as fair as possible.  Isabella was warned about spamming somebody's thread, then did it two more times.  Isabella is the third person banned, not bad out of 59 members.

Recap:

- 1st person banned posted 28 times in 6 hours, showed no signs of being social
- 2nd person tried to sell illegal duplicates of ATM cards
- 3rd person, tonight, kept spamming same thread with content having nothing to do with what OP posted

We review these issues so everyone knows what's clear.  Our goal is to have ZERO bans, but the moment everyone else suffers at the hands of a deviant, something's got to change.  You can still be a Guest at the Special Abode, but ya' gotta learn to behave or find another place.
