Season 10 of Diablo 4 is nearly at its end, and Blizzard’s giving us a pretty exciting send-off. Right now – and running up until December 2 – two events are live: the returning Mother’s Blessing and the new Compass to Carnage. If you’ve still got some grind left in you, now’s the time to push that seasonal character further, scoop up extra loot, and make the most of what’s been one of the game’s most enjoyable seasons. With the bonus gains and all the chaos flying around, it’s basically a gift for anyone trying to earn more Diablo 4 Items before the reset.
Mother’s Blessing is a straight-up powerhouse for levelling. You’re looking at a 35% bump in XP and a big 50% boost to all gold drops. Great moment to finish the battle pass or smash through those last few skill levels on an alt. Plus, doing Grim Favors will now net you an extra Gift of the Tree cache – more shots at decent gear without having to farm endlessly. Pair that up with Compass to Carnage and it gets even better: higher drop rates for Infernal Horde Compasses and Aether, more frequent Chaos Waves… everything about it screams “make your build stronger while you still can.”
Looking back, Season 10 – which began September 23 – felt fresh without losing that Diablo rhythm. Chaos Armor, Perks, and those frantic Rifts gave the grind a hit of adrenaline. The showdown with Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, was honestly a standout, and tweaks to Infernal Hordes made them less of a chore. As the weeks passed, the meta settled in, so it’s pretty clear which class builds have climbed the ladder and owned endgame content. If you’ve been checking leaderboard spots, you’ve probably seen the same few dominating over and over, which says a lot about where balance landed this time.
Sure, some mechanics have been recycled over the 11 seasons – hard to avoid with this format – but there’s a bit of charm in how the devs keep reworking old ideas. Chaos Perks this season were a solid example; they weren’t a plain repeat of Season 9’s Horadric Spells. The fact each perk had a downside made you stop and think about tweaking your build. It’s that kind of small but deliberate change that keeps things from feeling stale, even if the core loop is familiar.
That said, I’m hoping the brand-new Tower activity next season has more than just a cosmetic twist. We’ve had a lot of similar endgame grinds lately, and if the Tower doesn’t shake things up, it might end up blending in too much. For now though, there’s still time to dive in, grab what you can, and wrap up Season 10 on a high note. Perfect moment to farm hard, experiment a bit, and maybe even pick up some buy diablo 4 gear to give yourself the edge before it all changes.
