somehow, we find each other

I have operated Maniac Nebula for quite some time, now. Decades ago, Johnny Carson was the host of The Tonight Show. He made jokes about Republicans, and he made jokes about Democrats. You wouldn't know which way he voted in a presidential election based off his tone or his comedy, though. Back then, late night hosts came across aa more impartial and unbiased. What has changed since then? Cable television has something to do with it, and so does the internet. We all play into confirmation bias in some form or another. You must go out of your way, in today's world, to hear all sides of an argument. As the operator of Maniac Nebula, I thought I was doing a good job. I didn't mind that my moderators explicitly expressed their politcal leanings, but I tried to remain old school. I tried to put out the image that I did not have a preference one way or another which way politics ought to be run. Maniac Nebula is a conspiracy site. The Left has conspiracies, and so does the Right. Maniac Nebula was meant to make ALL conspiracy theorists feel comfortable. The issue isn't Left vs Right. The issue is Tinfoil Hat vs Sheeple. We are a minority group, not a lot different than Sikhs, Yazidis, or Zoroastrians in religion. You really must exert yourself to find other conspiracy theorists, especially for whatever your gig or focus us. Maniac Nebula was meant to do this, and I thought I would like Donald Trump as a president back in 2016. After all, he seemed to be one of us. He spouted off conspiracy theories left and right, and I thought he meant it about releasing the 28 redacted pages pages of the 9/11 report. I thought he would release the JFK files during his first term. This was a big deal to a lot of members when he failed to do so. He wasn't trying to drain the Swamp! He was creating a new Swamp of his own! "The truth is out there." This is the famous tagline of the X Files. That Fox show delved into various fringe areas, most memorably with aliens. Sometimes the episodes turned out to be hoaxes, and other times they were real. The X Files, though a fiction series, steered many, many people into conspiracy theory. I had a lot of members who pointed to Mulder and Scully as the reason they started their journeys down the Rabbit Hole. "The truth is out there." Let's really focus on this. There is extreme gratification in being a conspiracy theorist. There is esoteric knowledge in our world. What presidents, politicians, and important people attended the Cremation of Care? Who are the Bilderbergs, and what kind of influence do they have on our planet? What presidents were members of Skull and Bones? I know the answers to these questions, and it makes me feel good that I know things ordinary people don't know. Truth. Let's focus on that. Who was the first president of the United States? Who was the first Super Bowl champion? What is the state capital of Michigan? Perhaps you know the answers to all of these questions, but if you don't, you can do a quick Google search. These truths are easy to find, and there's an agreeable consensus with each one. It takes a very rare person to answer that John Hanson was the first president, for example. Then, there are truths that Normies would never know about because they don't look for them. How much did Saudi Arabia donate to Hillary Clinton in 2016? What redacted information is the government hiding in the 9/11 report? Somebody did the redacting, so somebody knows what it is! Currently, people want to know what's in the Epstein Files! These truths are available to find, but it takes effort, and sometimes it takes time. Truth is the Holy Grail of conspiracy theorists, though. It's our neverending quest. We love people who help us reach the truth, and we disdain people who spew out misinformation and disinformation. In George Orwell's 1984, Winston Smith works for the Ministry of Truth. Does it mean he was responsible for disseminating the truth to the public? No! 1984 is a work of dystopia, and everything has become inverted! The Ministry of Truth was the government's propaganda arm! Does this sound like Truth Social of today? Like I said, I tried to come across as objective at Maniac Nebula. I'll never forget when I snapped, and I decided I couldn't go along with the charade. It was during Easter weekend last year. I've told the story elsewhere a couple of times, so I won't rehash it here. I came to the conclusion that Donald Trump is not a good man. You can think this is a Left/ Right issue all you want, but it's not. It's a Truth vs Lie issue. Donald Trump is an enemy of the Truth, therefore he's an enemy of who I am at my core. As a conspiracy theorist, I want you to know what shooters were in Dealey Plaza when JFK was killed. I want you to know about NORAD's Operation Vigilant Guardian, and why it matters in regards to the destruction of the Twin Towers. In todays news, I want you to know the different theories about who really killed Charlie Kirk. There are many in the MAGA world who believe it wasn't Tyler Robinson. It has to do with the exit wound on his neck, and rumored autopsy reports. Many speculate that the entry wound came from the back, rather than the front. These are not Left/ Right issues. These are Truth/ Lie issues, and Donald Trump is the most significant propagandist since Joseph Goebbels. Trump was a registeted Democrat during George W Bush's two terms, but he has nothing good to say about them now. Jeb Bush cheated for his brother in the 2000 election, but Trump doesn't mention that. When Trump talks about rigged elections, it's 2000 Mules, and it's Lyndon Johnson having "dead people vote" (supposedly, Democrats went to cemeteries to find tecently deseased to show up to polls and vote on behalf of dead people). He doesn't say a thing about conservative Justice Scalia ending the recount on a weekend, and he doesn't talk about W's cousin who prematurely called Florida for Bush from where he worked at Fox News. The Washinton Post said Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims during his first term. HOLY SHIT! "All of my friends are honorable, they can do no wrong, and they are beyond reproach!" This is the guy's genuine attitude. He will Lie on their behalf, then he will turn around and Lie about anyone who's not part of his clique. If Pinocchio had a Hulk-like alter ego, this would be Trump. When I launched Never Trump Blog, it was one of the greatest days of my life. It was a big load off my chest. I no longer had to pretend to like him. Like I said, I thought he had potential in 2016. When January 6, 2021 rolled around, I realized he was a dingbat with a dangerous, fucked up ego. Still, I tried to be an impartial referee at Maniac Nebula. I let the free market of ideas take it's course. I figured it would be a matter of time before society would kick Donald Trump to the curb, OR he would change his ways. Neither happened. Recently, Trump showed up to give a low-energy speech to the Navy. Trump, being the habitual liar that he is, said he warned the public about Osama bin Laden a full year before Nine Eleven, but nobody listened. He said he wrote about it in a book, but he refused to give the book's name. As expected, after the speech, people scoured and searched. They could find no such warning from Trump, but it wasn't his only Nine Eleven lie. There were many of them. Trump is in poor health, now. Alex Jones believes he won't last another year. Alex Jones actually predicted the events of Nine Eleven before they happened, and he said Osama bin Laden would be set up as a patsy. Same for William Cooper. They both knew what would happen, they both knew how it would plau out, and they shared it with the public. There is no record of Trump doing this. The video I'm posting here talks about these issues. This website isn't designed to convince Sheeple that I'm correct. This website is supposed to make Sheeple feel comfortable around Tinfoil Hat guys like myself, and vice versa. This place is a Gateway, though, and if anybody has the curiosity, I try to give the best answers I know how to give ... ![]()
