Hello Everyone!

My name is Vitus Carlyle, and I'm a writer for The Ongyan!  Since it's a tabloid publication, I take great liberties in my storytelling method!  I portray myself as a time traveler, and I put myself in situations which border on historical fact, and sensational revisionism.  I even stretch the truth a bit in my personal life.  For example, I am great friends with Madam Cassandra, but we did NOT sleep together!  I know she's a great sport, and she went along with it.  In a different thread, she claimed it was true that we wound up in bed.

I'm friends with Brick Jayne, though.  He's an author, and he writes entire books of fiction.  There's a different method of writing when your goal is to write an entire novel full of characters which will be used in future novels.  You must create your universe.  This is not the same for me.  I write tabloid articles, and my method can be much more flexible and whimsical.  Regardless, Brick Jayne provided me a hand written posterboard.  His three books mainly were focused from 1983 until 2013.  He went deep, though, and his timeline went back to ancient times.  There are obvious historic events included, but there is also pseudo-history, weird history, and history which centers on dystopian events.  This makes it fun for me, because I can use his timeline to write my Ongyan articles.

I want to mention that we met long ago in a conspiracy forum.  I want to let you know that I understand that what I do is fiction.  I use real personalities in pop culture, but I write for a tabloid.  It's satire!  As a matter of fact, the motto of The Ongyan is, "Satire of a Satire."  However, Brick and I both know Faded Mars Morticia.  She posts many things about the Mandela Effect, and alternate timelines and universes.  Many people come to conspiracy forums because it's fun.  They get to spend an hour or two shooting the breeze about Sasquatch, Nessie, and aliens.  They go back to their ordinary lives, and they don't discuss these issues with family or friends, at least not in seriousness.  Why?  It's suspension of belief! You might START to believe an alien invasion is imminent, but it's like watching a good movie.  When you walk away, the idea seems silly.  Faded Mars Morticia has studied the multiverse from the perspective of quantum mechanics.  She's a real believer in the things she writes about.  That's the great thing about these online forums!  You get to meet some real characters!  Brick tells me he got word from Mars that she might be joining sometime before Halloween!  I hope she does because, quite honestly, she's made me a believer!  It's like the Argylle movie!  I start wondering if I'm writing is actually going on in an alternate dimension!  There was a hilarious interview between Joe Rogan and Neil deGrasse Tyson where they're discussing this issue.  Tyson says to Rogan, "There's a universe where I'm the bald one, and you have the afro!" It was something along those lines, and I might've flip-flopped who said what.  I'm a writer, though, and this is fun stuff!  I look forward to spending time at Sheeple Gateway, and I look forward to writing more Ongyan articles.  Brick has given me more timelines, by the way.  He's a great revisionist historian, and he's working on a Western.  He said I could give him a few ideas, and it would be great to co-author a book!  He's aiming to finish it by New Year's.  I'll probably post a River Pirates documentary.  Brick told me to watch it if I want to join his project.  In ths meantime, I'll just kick back and wait for things to happen.  I want to thank Madam Cassandra for being a good sport, and I hope Faded Mars Morticia joins soon!  She's a really cool chick!

Well, it's the first day of autumn.  Over at The Ongyan, we're going to start pages by seasons instead of months.  We're simply not adding content quick enough.  This season, we're doing a comic strip instead of tabloid articles.  It just seems like the fun thing to do.

I love what's going on with The Ongyan !  I still use that timeline I gave you.  I might post a few more.  Six years ago, I started working on a Western.  The project stalled, but a few weeks ago, I pulled out my old notes.  I'd like to finish it by the end of the year.  I got some of my inspiration from this documentary.  It's really cool, and it's not what we were taught in high school history.

My last three books were Thermite, Kiribati, and Cretins .  They were set in modern times, and they centered around fictional banking families: the Callypsos, Hydes, and Cobbs.  Of course, fiction blends with reality, and I also include the Rothschilds and more.

My Western book, tentatively called Ferral, was going to trace the origins of these families in the United States.  I also include robber baron industrialists such as the Rockefellers (real) and the Thurmans (fictional).  Another central character in the Ferral project  comes from the Miltons, a fictional family who dealt with exotic animals and cryptids.

The effects of money in our society has always fascinated me, and that's why I'm including the quote from Thomas Jefferson.  I love to watch good documentaries, and some of the better ones take the form of cartoon humor.  I'm including one here, and I'm including a great, great, great serious "history of money" one.  It's four hours long, but it's worth every minute if you're into this type of thing.
