I love documentaries but, in particular, I like docudramas.  Netflix produced a great one a few years ago about social media (link to The Social Dilemma above).  If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it.  It's great to get our news from multiple sources, then shake it out.  If we're smart enough, we can decipher what's real from what's bullshit.  We can also realize who is more reliable about presenting the truth.  We can see there are good and bad people in all groups.  We can see that some news sources are better at "calling out their own" than others.  If you only get your news from a single source (or political cluster), you are more prone to being duped and, quite honestly, coming across as a cult member.

Another great docudrama is Inside The Twin Towers.  It's a documentary in dramatic form taken directly from the words and testimonies of those who survived on Nine Eleven at the WTC.  It's done very well ...

... brackets.  It could be a link, a picture, lengthy text, or anything else.  Basically, you could post something in simple form, and use "hide" if people wanted details.  People used it for comedy, too.  They would tease you with something they'd say, then use the "hide" feature to give something funny & unexpected.  Lastly, though, people used it for adult content.  It could be an image which featured gore or something provocative.  It would be neat if we could get the "hide" feature to work here at Sheeple Gateway.  When I cut and paste from the Maniac Nebula archive, I rarely substitute anything.  There are broken links, and broken pics.  Now and then, if it's important to the story, I'll substitute so long as the spirit if the narrative is maintained ...

Traditionally, Patriot Day has been celebrated and observed every by oligarchs and their "yes men" followers.  They reflect in silence at 8:46 am then eat hot dogs and apple pies while they discuss lies, distortions and exagerrations of the "official" 9/11 story.  Do they ask where the wreckage went from the planes that supposedly crashed into the Pentagon and Shanksville field? Hardly.  Do they discuss how the Red Sea was parted for Moses and the Hebrews?  Not anymore.  God said the Red Sea was parted in the Bible and the US government said whatever far out things they said in a half-baked 9/11 commission report.  Truthers can celebrate 9/11 now, though.  One and one is two.  It's a mathematical fact.  Living Colour can sing "...I tell you one and one makes three..." and it sounds nice in a lyrical way.  End of the day, we rely on plumbers to fix out pipies, surgeons to repair our bodies, poets to thrill us with words, engineers to design buildings, and politicians to pass laws.  I'm not going to listen to ONE politician about what happened twelve years ago on September 11th.  It's  a shame what had happened.  WTC7, a forty-seven story building, came down at free fall and no plane hit it.  Why did comparable steel-framed buildings not tumble in Caracas and Madrid?  I liked feeling united as a country and I fear there will be a similar schism in America as there was in the Holy Roman Empire.  One plus one is two... not three.  I believe the engineers are going to win out in the long run.  Multiple firemen in NYC talked about multiple explosions on different floors inside the Twin Towers.  Those buildings were designed to take multiple hits from jumbo jets.  I will celebrate 9/11 as a Truther.  Rethink911 has put up billboards around the country.  Jesse Ventura is out poking around.  More and more people are questioning the government because of the rash of crazy crap we've collectively gone through.  Maybe freedom is starting to return and maybe the oligarchs will fade into the background ... ..

ps  I was thinking about this analogy with "Get Smart" and "Jurassic Park".  There's something called "suspention of belief".  We watch Maxwell Smart shoot a spy from Kaos in fiction and our mind doesn't wonder where the blood is from the gunshot wound.  We watch computer-simulated dinosaurs and we're in awe.  Computer simulations have shown the "fly screen" design of the Towers which demonstrated that a plane, by itself, would not have devestated the structure as purported.. . but the mayor of New York wanted to rely on a different computer simulation and the "pancake theory" instead of study the Ground Zero steel because it was decided to urgently whisk it away.  There was molten steel that burned for ninety-nine days and science does not agree that jet fuel could've caused such a phenomenon.  I want to believe the most out of the masses.  Some people were scared to tell their stories.  Some told their stories but were fired or hushed.  Others?  I agree with Webster Tarpley's assessment that millions of people went through "cognitive dissonance".  We often go into denial when a loved-one hurts us... and this probably happened on a mass scale when the heinous lies poured out of our elected politicians and mass media outlets.  Time heals all wounds, or so they day .. .

it was a time when the one percent would flirt with itself in a vanity mirror, pat itself on the back, and pretend that the ninety-nine percent was lazy and stupid

somewhere out there, kelly ayotte is wondering who the first "home grown terrorist"  will be killed in america by a preditor drone and somewhere out there, dick cheney is proud that he shot a man in the face with a shotgun and got away with it
