Even good teams lose, but not all losses make you sick in the stomach. The game started off great with an interception early in the 1st quarter. Then, on the Broncos' second possession, it looked like the Cowboys would stop them and force a punt. BUT... they had a defender LINE UP OFF SIDE! It was a dead ball foul which gave Denver new life. These dead ball fouls would be repeated later. So after Denver went and scored, they gained the momentum and they never looked back. The Cowboys fought back, and before the end of the 1st half, they were in position for Brandon Aubrey to try a 70 yard field goal in the thin Mile High air. With no time outs and 22 seconds left, Dak threw it deep down the middle. It was an interception, and it killed any momentum they could've regained. What were they thinking? Even if they would've completed the ball at around the twenty, the clock would've run and they had no time to set up for a score. Everyone wanted to see the 70 yard try! It would've been historic!
Made me sick!
Many people have said Dak has been playing like an MVP all year, but when he plays bad, it's really bad. Later in the game, he had another horrible interception near the end zone. If there's any silver lining, Joe Milton looked good in mop up duty.
