This Is Pure Spam

At some point, we've got to call it for what it is.  If you reply to a thread, try to have a little courtesy.  When you respond, it would be nice to at least partially mention something the OP said.  Sure, threads get hijacked sometimes, and other times they veer off the rails to something else, but to promote something long and strange having nothing to do with the topic?  That's spam!  I know homercocktail wants to be lenient with these issues, so we don't delete anything.  We move it to the Special Abode, and now we're creating a thread for some of the responses.  Some of the posts in this thread might seem random because they'll be coming from different places.
