I'm the forum operator, and I have 5 threads posted in 1 month!  You come in and post 28 threads in 6 hours!  Holy shit!  I admire your stamina and tenacity, but it's not what we're looking for here.  I put you on a two-week ban so you can think things over.  Do you really want to be part of this forum?  If ya' do, ya' gotta behave like some of the Normies!  Geez, that was wild!

Hello guys!!

Our second member has been banned!  That's not so bad considering we now have 45 people who've signed up.  We like to be clear about what gets you banned.  Tonight, a new subforum was created for mods.  Here's what I wrote in a thread:

Nobody wants to be an asshole, but also, nobody wants to be trampled by strange people.  Worse yet, nobody wants to be trampled by bots.


Our first member was banned for posting 28 threads in his first 6 hours.  That was a no brainer.  We have other members who've joined, and they seem to like to market things.  Mainly, they've marketed sports attire and video game coins.  It seems harmless enough, and we're trying to stay with the "free speech thing" as much as possible.  With that said, nobody (to the best of my knowledge) is selling cocaine.  Nobody (to the best of my knowledge) is trafficking humans for sex or labor.  No child has been sold to a sweat shop.  That would be bad, and that would not be allowable.

Today, we banned our second member.  He was blatantly selling cloned ATM cards.  Like I said, we don't sell cocaine, quaaludes, or heroine.  We stretch the free speech thing much as possible, but we're still grounded in common sense.

The Special Abode was created for members who got wild about posting.  No threads have been deleted yet no matter how much they look like span to the average person.  This subforum here is created for Sheeple Gateway mods.  If something is in poor taste or seems like spam, we put it at the Special Abode.  If something seems fishy in the criminal or illegal category, we are putting it here.  We can have discussions about these threads.  We don't want ordinary members clicking on anything which will take them into a black market Rabbit Hole.

Also, why not have some fun?  Mods can come here and talk about anything!  It doesn't have to center around people or bots who don't behave.  We have a place here we can get away to.  Hopefully, it's fun.  Hopefully, we don't wind up pulling our own hair out.

ps ...  We still haven't deleted anything.  We've posted a copy of dumpstop9's threads here and scrambled the contact information.  We want the public to have an idea of the illegal activity we frown on.  The original threads have been moved to the new Moderators' Lounge so we can discuss the limits of what we're allowing members to post.  For the most part, it's a wide variety of topics.  It's wide enough to span the Universe, as a matter of fact.

In a nutshell, this user posted 16 times in less than a half hour after joining.  The posts weren't social.  They were randomly spammed across different threads.  They included hyperlinks written in Cyrillic that, when you clicked them, a "Suspicious Site Blocked" warning popped up.

Usually, even if a member is banned for excessive spam posting, we allow their content to stand in The Special Abode.  Because of the warning, though, we will move the content of yoink's posts to the Moderators' Lounge.

A 5th member has been banned today.  paraschivrazvan25 had spammed someone else's thread a couple of weeks ago, then did it again today.  Out of 166 current members, we only have 5 bans.  That's not so bad!  We allow a lot of different posting, but when you post to other people's threads, make sure you stay on topic at least in a ballpark way ...

Our sixth member was banned today, DannyNaism.

Last night, this member posted a link to a dark site, Kraken, which has been linked to sale of illicit drugs.  There are six things not allowed at this forum.  We have a thread pinned to the main forum about what they are.  Sales of illicit drugs is one of them.  Why?  It doesn't matter of you're in to cocaine, heroin, or a Viagra knock off, if the government considers it illegal, they'll shut down any site which facilitates it's availability.  Has anyone heard of the Silk Road scandal?  We don't want that.  Have a good time, but don't push illegal drugs.  Originally, we sent the first thread to the moderator's lounge with a warning.  In the past couple of hours, two more threads were posted promoting the Kraken dark web site.  We currently have 186 members.  We're doing pretty good!

Two more members were banned today.

Sheeple Gateway has been around for a half year, now.

Here's what new members have:

-- free will
-- great ideas
-- a lot of ambition
-- common sense & common courtesy
-- simple guidelines clearly posted if there's any doubt

As long as people stay in their lanes, they can do whatever they want.  Of course, we don't allow our site to promote the sale of illegal drugs, but that ought to be common sense.  You can venture outside of your lane as long as you have common courtesy.  We're at a stage now where we're not going to explain the same rules over again.  For each of the first few bans, we took time to explain who did what, and why the result happened.  Now?  Preseason is over.  That's the analogy we'll use.  The regular season is here.  Are you a rookie parking in the head coach's designated spot?  Well, you're going to get cut from the team.  You've gone through camp and you don't know the playbook?  Well, make your case to another team.  It's a big enough World out there to find your own thing.
