If you spent any real time in the first Grow a Garden, you already know that layout management is everything. But in Grow a Garden 2, the stakes are way higher. The sequel introduces that chaotic nighttime stealing phase, meaning if you aren't fast enough to chase down intruders or sprint across your plot to save your prize crops, you’re going to lose a ton of profit.
To maximize your efficiency and defend your hard work, you need to know how to move. Whether you prefer to play the game cleanly using intended high-speed gear or you like messing around with ridiculous physics exploits, here is exactly how to get across your farm in the absolute shortest time possible.
Standard High-Speed Gears and Items
If you have the cash (or the Robux) and want a reliable way to zoom around without breaking the game's physics, the developers gave us a few solid tools to work with.
The Standard Teleporter
This is your go-to active item for quick positioning. You can buy it from the Gear Shop for 60,000 Sheckles when it rotates into stock. It is a single-use item, but it is incredibly useful for vertical movement or crossing tricky terrain. When you activate it, a holographic clone pops up ahead of you to show your destination. Give it a click, and you instantly warp forward—perfect for instantly reaching high-tier crops or clearing massive gaps in your layout.
Teleporter Pad Crate (Mythic)
If you want a permanent fast-travel network, you'll need to look at the Mythic Teleporter Pad Crate. It costs 500 Robux in the shop, but it lets you place down permanent pads across your plot. If you have a massive farm, setting these up at opposite corners means you can seamlessly travel from your main house to your furthest fields in the blink of an eye.
Foraging for Stat Mushrooms
Don't sleep on the local flora. If you find and harvest Speed Mushrooms on your farm, eating one gives you a temporary Speed +5 boost, which is exactly what you need when you're trying to outrun a thief in the dark. Similarly, chewing on a Jump Mushroom gives you a Jump +5 boost, letting you easily vault over high walls, fences, and complex vertical farming structures without having to walk all the way around them.
Movement Glitches and Exploits
Look, gear is great, but if you want to move at speeds that defy the laws of nature, the community has found some hilarious—and highly effective—glitches that you can abuse right now.
The Wheelbarrow Instant Teleport
This one requires a bit of teamwork, but it essentially gives you free, instant map-wide travel. Have a friend sit inside your wheelbarrow while you push them to a specific destination. Once you are there, simply equip the wheelbarrow directly from your inventory while your friend is still sitting in it. This triggers a weird positioning bug that instantly snaps you to where you need to be. It takes a little practice to get the timing down, but it's a brilliant trick for duo players.
The Big Berry Fling (The Extreme Speed Glitch)
This is the absolute fastest way to travel if you don't mind flying blindly across the map. First, you need to grow a heavy crop—things like Celestberries or raspberries work perfectly. Hook them up to multiple sprinklers and let them grow until they reach a hefty weight of around 10 to 14 kilograms.
Harvest the massive berry, equip it in your hands, and switch your camera into first-person mode. From there, look completely backward, start walking backward, and hit jump. The weight of the crop combined with the first-person physics completely breaks your character's velocity, flinging you all the way across the map at ridiculous speeds.
