Hello!  Welcome!  I am Homer Cocktail, and I started my AI music hobby this past January.  When I make the videos, I attribute them to Maniac Nebula, a conspiracy site we all know and love!  Mostly, I've done cover songs.  "Renditions" might be a better word to describe it, because I like to change genres and styles.  By the time April rolled around, I started creating entire album renditions:

Hello Guys!!

I'm happy to see you here!  I am Homer Cocktail, and I founded Sheeple Gateway!  I want to explain a few things.

/homercocktail (the handle) was started in 2008.  I first used it with YouTube, but I also created /homercocktail accounts with MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Keek, Instagram, and any other websites I found interesting.  I don't consider myself a great musician, but I play guitar, keyboards, and I sing.  I've recorded more than 1000 songs!  That's right!  And, I don't consider myself to be a comedian, but I incorporate humor as often as possible.  With the advent of internet, my goal was to become a Cyber Neighbor.  Never, in a million years, was I striving to become the next Eddie Van Halen.  I had different roommates at different times in my life who "noodled" with guitar around the house.  It was a hobby, and I was glad they were around sharing their music.  That's all I ever wanted to do when I started my first YouTube channel.

LunaticOutpost (LoP) is a real conspiracy website.  It was founded by a few people who were banned from a larger website, GodlikeProductions (GLP).  After a Super Bowl, many years back, somebody got up in a bunch and banned a whole slew of people.  Most of the people never knew why they were banned.  LoP ran for a few years, and I joined on Halloween in 2014.  It was fun!  It was a whole lot of fun!  But it was like high school in tone, and though the tone could be wonderful, there were clicks.  Every now and then, there were cyber fights!  Also, once a week (usually on a Sunday), somebody would feel mistreated or left out.  This person would "flounce" (threaten to leave, in other words).  Now and then, the person would actually leave, but most of the time, it was hot air.

In 2016, a few LoP members launched The-Fringe (TF, now defunct).  It's weird because GLP had a reputation for being right-leaning, and they banned people who formed a left-leaning site, LoP.  Then conservatives at LoP felt disenfranchised so they created right-leaning, TF.  It was a giant zig zag of politics.  TF was a lot of fun for me, and it's where my social dialogue felt most personal.  I am registered Libertarian, and my values overlapped a lot with the newly-forming MAGA group.  With that said, herd mentality started to set in, and it eventually created tension at The-Fringe.

I want you to think about Seinfeld, the sitcom.  Jerry Seinfeld played himself in the series.  Cosmo Kramer, George Costanza, and Elaine Benes were all based off real-life people.  Cosmo Kramer was really Kenny Kramer, Larry David's neighbor.  George Costanza was Larry David in caricaturized form.  Elaine Benes was Larry David's ex-girlfriend, Susan McNally.  It was supposed to be a "show about nothing", but it lasted nine years and 180 episodes.  At some point during the series, the plot centers around Jerry Seinfeld going to NBC to pitch a sitcom about him and his friends.  At that point, it's a hall of mirrors.

Stephen King does something similar at the end of The Dark Tower series.  He writes about Roland and Jake intervening in our world to save Stephen King from getting killed by a van.  Of course, in real life, Stephen King was struck by a van on June 19, 1999.  The presumption was that fictional Jake became a real person and sacrificed himself so Stephen King could continue living as a writer.

Lastly, we have this Hannah Montana plot hole explained by AI:

So, here ya' have it!  I am Homer Cocktail!  My birth name is Eddie, I acquired the nickname Rod as a child, and joined LunaticOutpost in 2014.  My first screen name was Dulce Underground, but I was known as Duck by most people, specifically Nemesis Duck once I joined The-Fringe.  For the past decade, I wanted to create a myBB bulletin board social forum of my own.  I recently compared it to driving a car for your first time.  When I turned sixteen, I was given a 1965 Chevy Nova.  It had bald tires, leaked oil and water, and I had to drive with my left foot on the brake while my right foot was on the accelerator because it had a bad carburetor at it would stall if I didn't  gas it while at stop signs.  You know what?  I hardly cared!  I was just happy I could drive wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted.  The same is true when starting these social forums.  Maybe, when you were a child, your parents drove you to cool places, like Disneyland.  You still want to make your own choices, eventually.  The social forums I was part of had great moments.  There's nothing wrong with wanting to drive on your own, as the metaphor goes.

Right now, I'm telling you how I became Homer Cocktail in 2008.  I gained an interest in conspiracy forums such as AboveTopSecret, GodlikeProductions, LunaticOutpost, and The-Fringe.  Well, besides having music as a hobby, I wrote novels.  My first one was ZoToN written in 2003 as Gaud Rockefeller.  I kid you not when I tell you that I believed the internet could be a real Renaissance.  I involved myself in many things, and I wound up with six books using the Gaud Rockefeller pseudonym.  In 2013, I started writing as Brick Jayne.  You can see where some of this is going, right?  I have SO many names and personas, I'm not sure what to do with them!  In the Nutty Professor, Eddie Murphy played Buddy Love, Professor Sherman Klump, Cletus Klump, Anna Pearl Klump, Ernie Klump Sr, and Granny Klump.  I felt like I was doing this on steroids!  So, eventually, LunaticOutpost wasn't as enjoyable, and The-Fringe folded.  Last year, I learned to develop web pages using Hostinger and WordPress.  In fiction, I had decided to satirize LunaticOutpost by creating Maniac Nebula.  I caricaturized a few members I had known.  When I launched my very first WordPress site, it was maniac-nebula.com .  I created a backstory, and I altered the characters a tiny bit.  I loved the site, though.

Maniac-nebula.com is a satire of LoP, but it's not a myBB bulletin board.  Quite honestly, I simply didn't have the skills in February of 2024 when I launched it.  You have to learn to crawl before you walk.  I've had a year and a half of tinkering around AND (this is significant), I've had experience with AI.  I was able to launch Sheeple Gateway from scratch a couple of weeks ago.  Let's go over a few conspiracy site bulletin board terms:

shill - these people, presumably paid by a government or corporate power, never deviate from their political stance regardless of contradicting evidence, and they come across as propagandists

sock - these people have another main account, but they create a fake account (sometimes more than one) in order to prop the original account up by praising it, or casting negative light on their enemies, with the term coming from "hand sock", as people have created crude puppets by putting socks over their hands

troll - these people, when angered, will harass members they feel wronged by, or who hold opposite political beliefs

flounce - when members are fed up with the forum, they will do this as a threat to permanently leave

misinformation - presented by members as factual and reliable, but is not supported by mainstream, accepted knowledge, and it's often done in innocent banter

disinformation - knowingly false information or narratives by the person presenting it, but done anyway to drive a person's own agenda, or to save face from humiliation

sheeple - these, in the masses, are part of the hive mind with mob mentality, and no clue about "what's really going on", with the word deriving from combining "sheep" and "people"

tin foil hat - a means of protection against mind control from secret government or alien signals (term originated in a 1927 short story by Julian Huxley, The Tissue-Culture King, where a character wears a "cap of metal foil" to shield themselves from telepathic waves)

I am Homer Cocktail.  I joined LoP in 2014, then created a Maniac Nebula website ten years later as a satire.  This is where the Jerry Seinfeld anecdote comes in.  Jerry Seinfeld is a real-life comedian.  Jerry Seinfeld portrayed Jerry Seinfeld in a sitcom.  As Homer Cocktail in real life, I created many characters and personas to suit my needs.  I created pseudonyms when I felt like writing novels.  One of the fictional characters, Braden Callypso, decided to write an autobiography (called Blunder) where he describes Maniac Nebula as a website.  Though a fictional character, this autobiography is real enough and can be read here at Sheeple Gateway as a PDF.  Braden also wrote fiction at the end of Blunder, called Doug.  It's a large Fabergé egg, of sorts.  Less than ten percent of the time, I'll be talking straightforward, as I am now.  This is akin to Seinfeld talking on late night television.  Ninety percent of the time, I'll be "in character" and playing a role.  Let's make something clear as Sheeple Gateway gets off the ground:

This might be temporary.  At LunaticOutpost, this is a big no-no, and sock accounts are subject to deletion.  Not here, though.  I've got to figure things out, and I've got to simulate conversations.  I've got to allow new members to do the same.  Maybe this holds, and we continue to allow sock accounts for years to come.  Maybe the new members want to do away with it, but it wouldn't happen until the ball is rolling.  If enough people don't sign up, I might keep Sheeple Gateway as a satire of the forums I've been part of.  I love to caricaturize people, and I'll continue to do so.

As I write this, it's Nine Eleven, 2025.  As a tin-foil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist, we focus on a few issues on a regular basis: the Illuminati, Sasquatch, Nessie, the JFK assassination, Area 51, and Nine Eleven!  In real life, LoP almost went down for good about ten years ago (I think it was for financial reasons).  In a panic, everyone exchanged emails, and there was a friendly planned exodus to another site, Alien-Earth.  Well, LoP survived, and I still have those emails.  I told myself I'd get a hold of the old gang if I ever started my own myBB site.  The time is now, and I have a heavy heart.  I came to care about a lot of people, and a few have departed.  They did more than flounce.  They moved on to the Great Conspiracy Forum in the Sky.  Sometimes, these things are easily verifiable because family members confirm when a member has passed away.  I'm thinking of you, AtomIcarus.  Other times, it's a rumor, and not as easy to confirm.  I hope it's not true that GreenAQ and Beans have left us.  For everyone else?  I enjoyed your company, and maybe we can do something worthwhile again.  I'm writing this on Nine Eleven as forum operator, Homer Cocktail.  If enough people from the old crowd come back, I will reengage you as Nemesis Duck, just like the old days.  I will continue to post as Homer Cocktail when I do music.  That's how Homer Cocktail came to be in the first place.  In my AI music videos, I attribute the songs to Maniac Nebula.  I have an AI music site at Tarantula Nebula (dot com), a name I used to post at LoP a half year ago.  I hope this story isn't too dizzying, and I hope it doesn't have more plot holes than Hannah Montana. After all, I'm just having fun, and I want you to have fun as well.  I named this place Sheeple Gateway because I want it to live up to its name (or down to it, depending on which direction you're coming from).  I want Sheeple not to feel bad for not knowing about secrets we've known all along.  We're talking about stories concerning Freemasons, the Knights of Malta, Skull and Bones, the Protocols of Zion, and the Templars.  Unlike LoP, I'm okay with sock accounts for now, AND I'm okay with "Facebook type material".  Some of the people I adore the most in the world come from the so-called Sheeple group.  They don't care about the Black Knight Satellite.  They could give a rat's ass about Nibiru.  They don't want to spend a microsecond talking about the Annunaki.  They want to talk about sports!  And they want to talk about celebrity gossip, especially whatever TMZ might be currently pushing out.  Sheeple Gateway is for Noobs, and it's for Kooks.  It's for everyone, and if we're lucky, it can be a decent thing for a few months, or a few years...
