Hypoestes Polka Dot Plant is best grown in a free and well-draining soil with high levels of organic matter. Soil with pH 6.0 to 6.5 is quite good. Fertility will be enhanced by adding pieces of compost or manure occasionally. Such soil sustains good roots and bright and speckled leaves.
