In my heart of hearts, I believe American Civil War 2.0 began on January 6, 2021.  Five years to the day later, neither side trusts or likes each other.  Neither side can agree on basic facts, like who won the 2020 election.  With Republicans in charge of all three branches of government, there is zero regard for what Democrats and left-leaning voters think.  The One Big Bogus Bill was plopped on members of Congress, it was 900 pages, and they didn't have time to read it.  Even a,few Republicans were ticked off about what they voted for.  It wasn't popular in the polls, and it was rammed down Americans' throats.  There was bitterness throughout 2025, then Trump started his war crimes in Venezuela and the Caribbean.  He doesn't regard the Comstitution, and he doesn't believe he needs Congress to condone his foreign acts of aggression.

Today, we look back five years to when Donald Trump blew a fuse like nobody has ever blown a fuse.  His followers wanted to hang Mike Pence, and they tried to stop a peaceful transfer of power.  At [url=https://never-trump.blog/january-2026-leg-iv]Never Trump Blog[/url], we reflect on January 6th.  If you don't learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it ...
