In my heart of hearts, I believe American Civil War 2.0 began on January 6, 2021.  Five years to the day later, neither side trusts or likes each other.  Neither side can agree on basic facts, like who won the 2020 election.  With Republicans in charge of all three branches of government, there is zero regard for what Democrats and left-leaning voters think.  The One Big Bogus Bill was plopped on members of Congress, it was 900 pages, and they didn't have time to read it.  Even a,few Republicans were ticked off about what they voted for.  It wasn't popular in the polls, and it was rammed down Americans' throats.  There was bitterness throughout 2025, then Trump started his war crimes in Venezuela and the Caribbean.  He doesn't regard the Comstitution, and he doesn't believe he needs Congress to condone his foreign acts of aggression.

Today, we look back five years to when Donald Trump blew a fuse like nobody has ever blown a fuse.  His followers wanted to hang Mike Pence, and they tried to stop a peaceful transfer of power.  At Never Trump Blog, we reflect on January 6th.  If you don't learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it ...

Yesterday in Minnesota, a woman was killed by an ICE agent.  Millions of people have watched these agents brutalize citizens in online videos.  They are masked, they have no accountablity, and they show up to court houses to snatch immigrants as they're legally going through the naturalization process.  We've seen them pepper spray ministers, fight pregnant women, and zip-tie children.  They are loose cannons, and they are violent.  Anybody who knows how they've behaved would be terrified to see them on the streets.  They don't care if you're a woman when they sock you in the face!  They don't care if they snatch you away from your children!  They don't care about ruining lives!

Yesterday, Renee Good saw one of these violent psychos come at her.  She did what anybody feeling terror does.  Put in this situation, it is the instinct of animals to fight or flee.  She's a woman!  A mother of three!  It's no secret that these ICE Goons behave like Gestspo Nazis!  They do what their Orange Führer tells them to do!  And what's that?  They want to strike fear into the populous!  Ivana Trump claimed Donald raped her after he had a painful scalp reduction surgery at her urging.  She made this claim in a divorce deposition.  E Jean Carroll and more than twenty other women  also publicly claim they were the victims of rape or sexual assault by Donald Trump.  He has a rapist's mentality, and that's the important issue here.  When he chooses to drone stroke fishing boats in the Caribbean, he is raping the Sothern Hemishere.  He picked Pete Hegseth, not in spite of rape allegations, but BECAUSE of rape allegations.  They are a raping team, and RFK Jr is part of their clan.  He was accused of sexual assault on a former baby sitter.  They raped Venezuela, they raped, Congress, they raped the rule of law, and now they're trying to rape Minnesota.

Tim Walz is trying to stop them.

This fits into our American Civil War 2.0 thread because the Minnesota National Guard will try to stop the lawless, Rogue ICE agents.  In this video, David Pakman talks about the impending clash.  When Civil War 1.0 was fought in the mid-nineteenth century, mass media entailed the printing press.  Word got around, but it was not as quick.  There were visual images, but there was no video.  Today, everybody has a camera in their hands.  Information decimination is quicker.  We don't have to rely centralized centers for news.  We can report it to each other quickly.

Renee Good was murdered by an ICE agent.  Why is this a Civil War?  The other side says the opposite.  The killer is the victim.  It's absurd to anyone on our side, but so is going to war with Venezuela without Congressional approval.  Justice Alito, Thomas, and Roberts are supposed to stop this un-Constitutional behavior, but instead, they are Donald Trump's cheering section!  Speaker Mike Johnson is supposed to be making a fuss that Congress didn't vote on the war, but he's behaving like an impotent dog who just got his nuts cut off!  It sucks to watch.  Something's got to give.  I hope America doesn't die because of Trump and his Criminal Goons ...

1/12/2026 There’s a British saying, “In for a penny, in for a pound.” It traces back to a 1695 comic play, The Canterbury Guests. It basically means that once you’ve committed to a project, you’ve got to see it through no matter how much of a disaster it becomes, or how expensive. Donald Trump began his criminal behavior long ago. He began his racism long ago. He began his reckless rhetoric long ago. Back in 1989, he paid $85,000 to publish a full-page op-ed in four New York newspapers calling for the reinstatement of the death penalty. He did this in response to the Central Park 5, a group of young men accused of raping a white jogger who were exonerated the following year. In 2002, after the science of DNA had been established, these five young men’s innocence was proven through genetic testing. Four of them were black, one was Latino, and Trump never apologized. In 2014, the Central Park 5 were awarded a $41 million settlement. Instead of admitting he was wrong, Trump wrote another op-ed in the New York Daily News calling the ruling a disgrace. Trump has been accused of rape, though, by his ex-wife and by E Jean Carroll. His “Secretary of War” has been accused of rape. It seems, by Trump Logic, they should both be executed by the death penalty. Does it matter they weren’t criminally convicted? No! In Trump World, you merely have to be accused! Fast forward to 2020. Trump lost the election, and his Goons are up a bunch. Trump Lawyer, Lin Wood, tweeted that Mike Pence should be executed and Justice John Roberts was part of a pedophile ring. Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and a crackpot team of lawyers started suing the government for election fraud, but with no success. During the 2024 election, Justice John Roberts made peculiar rulings (1) allowing Trump to stay on the ballot in spite of being in violation of the 14th Amendment, (2) avoid prison by interfering with the schedule of the multiple criminal cases, and (3) un-Constitutionally ruled that presidents have immunity for criminal activiry. It makes you wonder if Lin Wood was right! Did he have dirt Justice Roberts being in a pedophile ring? Was he being blackmailed? Is Justice Roberts in the Epstein Files? During the 2024 presidential race, Orange Fascist called immigrants vermin, a term Adolf Hitler had used. He repeatedly talked about “the enemy within” and he said he would be a dictator on Day One. Fast forward to today. An ICE agent murdered a mother in Minneapolis, and 3000 agents have been sent to the ciry. Minneapolis only has 600 local police officers, so this is undeclared martial law. It is an insane police state. Orange Clown is doubling and tripling down on his rhetoric. He is doubling and tripling down in his criminal behavior. In for a penny, in for a pound, right? This has always been the Donald Trump method! Protesters have taken to the streets to stop Trump’s fascism! MeidasTouch and Status Coup provide reporting from the streets as events unfold. Recently, a few Republicans voted for enactement of the War Powers Act, and ACA subdidies. It would be really nice if a few other Republicans found a heart, and found a backbone! Is the Orange Fascist what they really support? He’s going to veto anything good for common Americans. If enough Republicans find a backbone and stop acquiescing their power, Americans can stop this bullshit in its tracks without having to be shot in the face by guns, or by pepper spray! We can all put the Nightmare of the Orange Clown behind us, and we can move forward as a Nation …
